You!

I wanted to create expressive type that felt like the longing of wanting everything to stay the same but obviously that can't and never happens! It's inspired by the current design trends (3D, chrome type) but really is a simple black and white design. There are so many layers and a sense of movement to accomplish a feeling of staying grounded through different moments of change. I intentionally let the type bleed off the artboard slightly because it is such a full feeling that's hard to ignore.

My interpretation of Dear Future
In my opinion, Dear Future is an ode to the ebb and flows within my life. Dear Future is learning to regrow and adapt to the changes that kind of come out of nowhere. It's hard to stay connected to others when the future feels uncertain but my project is rooted in the importance the people closest to myself and leaning on them to continue to move forward. The saying "nothing else matters but you," feels like a thank you for all of the types of relationships in my life.
