NOT a friendly reminder

Naive me, 28 years old - the right to abortion was so evident to me. When thinking about my wish for the future, I couldn’t ignore this horrible ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court regarding the right to abortion. I wanted to express my feelings using a simple poster, black letters on white paper. With this, remind us all that even though humanity is moving forward, we must protect our fundamental rights from going backward.

My interpretation of Dear Future
This is not about women’s future, this is about the human future. Usually, I’m a colorful person; this is my first work in black and white. The right to abortion was so obvious to me—as black on white paper. This is a reminder to us all—as fundamental as they may seem, rights are not written in stone.
